Kähler Hammershoi Unfold ceramic vase 16.5 cm, white

The special feature of the Hammershøi Unfold vases is their organic shape in a soft and welcoming design that allows the flowers to fall naturally and elegantly to the sides. In this way, the vase visually lengthens the flowers while naturally supporting them to stand in a harmonious arrangement.

Hammershøi Unfold vases are made of classic matt white ceramic and come in two sizes. This smaller vase is 16.5 cm high and together with the larger 20.5 cm high version, they make a perfect pair for spring and summer bouquets and cut branches. Both vases have the same unique shape, which gives this collection an unmistakable modern and nostalgic touch. Together with the iconic grooves, it continues the proud tradition of Kähler craftsmanship.

Like the entire Hammershøi collection, the Unfold vases are the work of designer Hans-Christian Bauer, inspired by one of Svend Hammershøi's classic vases from the 1930s. With its characteristic organic and playful design, it allows you to experiment with flower arrangements easily and naturally.

The Danish design brand KÄHLER has a long and fascinating history. It dates back to 1839, when Herman J. Kähler opened a ceramics workshop in the Danish town of Næstved. Later, his sons took over the business and that is when the real success story began. They began experimenting with shapes and different types of glazes, attracting a number of renowned designers to the workshop. This gradually led to international recognition and the KÄHLER brand continued to grow.
