HAND WASH OR DISHWASHER?
We generally do not recommend washing SIGG drinking bottles in the dishwasher. Aggressive cleaning agents in dishwashers can damage the bottle's paintwork and, in the case of aluminium bottles, the inner surface. Classic SIGG drinking bottles do not clean very well in the dishwasher anyway due to their narrow neck. To ensure long-term enjoyment of SIGG bottles, you should wash them regularly and by hand. The bottle and its cap should be rinsed with hot water after each use. Leave the bottle open when drying and storing.
HOW TO BEST CLEAN THE WMB ONE BOTTLE CAP?
The WMB ONE cap is dishwasher safe. However, to maintain the high quality of the product, we recommend cleaning it by hand. The inner sealing ring is removable, which allows you to remove dirt behind the seal. The sealing ring can also be boiled.
CLEANING SIGG VIVA BOTTLE
SIGG Viva water bottles are made of polypropylene, which is dishwasher safe due to its high temperature resistance. However, we recommend washing the bottles by hand using a mild detergent or SIGG cleaning tablets. This ensures that abrasive detergents in the dishwasher will not damage the printing on the bottle or its durability. Thanks to the wide neck, this type of bottle is easy to clean with a brush or sponge.
CLEANING SIGG HOT & COLD THERMOS
Before using for the first time, we recommend cleaning SIGG Hot & Cold thermoses with two tablespoons of vinegar diluted in water and rinsing thoroughly with warm water. The silicone seal should be removed after each use to ensure particularly thorough cleaning. If possible, clean the thermos by hand to avoid damaging it. Preferably using SIGG cleaning tablets or a mild detergent. Chlorine and abrasive products are not suitable.
CLEANING SIGG ALUMINUM BOTTLE
SIGG cleaning tablets are best for these bottles, or you can clean them with a mild detergent (strong detergents can damage the inner surface). Aluminum bottles should not be washed in the dishwasher as this could damage the outer print and inner surface.
CLEANING SIGG GLASS WATER BOTTLES
Only wash SIGG glass bottles by hand. Before first use, clean all parts with soapy water and rinse thoroughly with water. Do not use cleaning agents containing bleach or chlorine. We recommend using a soft cloth or sponge with SIGG cleaning tablets or a mild detergent. Steel brushes and polishing agents are not suitable for cleaning. The silicone parts can be removed and cleaned separately.
REUSABLE AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
SIGG bottles should be cleaned regularly to ensure that you can enjoy them for a long time.
