The collection is inspired by the adventurous shapes, colors and emotions of the Danish summer.

The 21 cm diameter bowl with summer fruit motifs is beautifully decorated with strawberries, blueberries and a butterfly that playfully and poetically flies through summer days. The summer berry motif is depicted in the same way as the other motifs of the Hammershøi Summer collection, where plants and flowers move almost spontaneously along the classic serrations on the white porcelain. As if they were almost growing and dancing in different directions. The bowl beautifully complements the other pieces from the Hammershøi Summer collection - and can be easily combined with other collections. The Danish design brand KÄHLER has a long and fascinating history. It dates back to 1839, when Herman J. Kähler opened a ceramics workshop in the Danish town of Næstved. Later, his sons took over the business and that is when the real success story began. They began experimenting with shapes and different types of glazes, attracting a number of renowned designers to the workshop. This gradually led to international recognition and the KÄHLER brand continued to grow.

With over 180 years of experience in traditional Scandinavian craftsmanship and design, KÄHLER is now owned by architect Frantz Longhi, who shaped the brand into its current form. KÄHLER is best known for its ceramic range, such as vases, dinnerware and candlesticks.
