Kähler Omaggio
The Omaggio collection is one of Kähler's greatest design successes in recent times. It was launched in 2008 and quickly gained popularity thanks to its new way of working with stripes in a modern and subtle design. The collection has a creative and playful feel and has become popular with design lovers all over the world. The organic shapes and hand-painted stripes give the collection a fresh and joyful look that appeals to many people who share a love of good design and quality.

Omaggio means "to celebrate" in Italian, and this collection pays homage to Kähler's tradition of design and craftsmanship, which dates back to 1839. The inspiration for the hand-painted stripes was the work of the most skilled ceramic painters from the old Kähler workshop, who emphasized the shapes of the ceramics with great precision and invention. The artisanal tradition is also reflected in the production process, where many traditional techniques are still used today - for example, the stripes are hand-painted with a brush on raw porcelain.

Omaggio vases have five to seven stripes, depending on the size. Each product in this collection goes through the hands of several people during painting, glazing and quality control. This makes each piece unique and acquires the life, soul and authenticity that only the human hand can give it. The Omaggio collection includes vases in many sizes, bowls, trays, candlesticks and Christmas decorations that can be combined in different ways in the home to create a unique and creative style. The Danish design brand KÄHLER has a long and fascinating history. It dates back to 1839, when Herman J. Kähler opened a ceramics workshop in the Danish town of Næstved. Later, his sons took over the business and that is when the real success story began. They began experimenting with shapes and different types of glazes, attracting a number of renowned designers to the workshop. This gradually led to international recognition and the KÄHLER brand continued to grow.

With over 180 years of experience in traditional Scandinavian craftsmanship and design, KÄHLER is now owned by architect Frantz Longhi, who shaped the brand into its current form. KÄHLER is best known for its ceramic range, such as vases, dinnerware and candlesticks.
