Monbento places particular emphasis on ensuring that its products are perfectly airtight. This is why you may encounter resistance when opening the transition lids, especially with a new product. This strength ensures that the boxes remain leak-proof and suitable for everyday transport. To open, lift the silicone valve and twist it. Then, using your fingernails, remove the lid.

Can I use the Original snack box in the microwave?
 The undeniable advantage of the Monbento Original: you can safely place this snack box in the microwave and heat up your delicious homemade meals.
Below are some tips and guidelines to follow when using the Monbento Original lunch box in the microwave:
- Remember to remove the top lid before placing the Monbento Original in the microwave.
- You can use the snack box in the microwave with the transition lid (it can be useful to avoid dirtying your microwave), but make sure you open the small silicone valve before heating.
- We recommend not exceeding 500 W and not heating the food for longer than 3 minutes.
- The transition lid of the snack box may lift slightly during heating. Simply flip it over the box for 30 seconds to allow the heat from the food to return it to its original shape.

What can I put in a Monbento Original box?

The division into compartments is what makes the bento box unique in the Japanese tradition. We offer the option of picking up at thousands of delivery points in the GLS and Balíkovna networks. Delivery to the delivery point is cheaper and offers greater flexibility, you can pick up the shipment when it suits you.
Please note, however, that there is a limited time for which the shipment will be available at the pick-up point.
Usually, the shipment must be picked up within 2-3 business days.
