Opinel Outdoor Junior N°07 multi-function knife 7 cm, blue

The N°07 Outdoor Junior multi-purpose knife is the ideal companion for young adventurers and athletes. Ideal for scouts, camps, hiking, sailing and other water activities. The handle is resistant to impacts, water and high temperatures. It is equipped with a whistle. The stainless steel blade is strong and sharp. The safety ring blocks the blade in both the open and closed positions. The best companion!

Durable handle
The glass-fiber reinforced polyamide resists impacts, moisture and extreme temperatures (-40°C to +80°C). The survival whistle works in all weather conditions (110 decibels).

Safety first
The ViroBloc safety lock reliably prevents the knife from opening and closing by itself. The simple but still unsurpassed safety ring was invented by Marcel Opinel back in 1955. Virobloc is part of all folding knives from N°06 onwards. In addition to locking the blade when the knife is open, which ensures its absolutely safe use (it will not fold down by itself even under great pressure), ViroBloc also locks the blade when it is closed, so you can safely put any knife equipped with this safety lock directly into your pocket or handbag.

Stainless steel
The choice of steel is very important, because it is one of the determining materials of the knife itself. It determines the durability and quality of the blade itself. High-quality Swedish steel 12C27 (Sandvik) was chosen for Opinel knives. This steel is highly resistant to corrosion and easy to maintain thanks to the addition of chromium. The addition of carbon in the steel (0.40%) ensures an excellent edge that holds its shape even when in contact with harder material without the need for sharpening.

Opinel - a design icon
The story of the now iconic Opinel brand begins in the 19th century, when merchant Victor-Amédée Opinel learned to forge nails during his travels and subsequently founded his forge in France. After his death, his son Daniel took over the craft, becoming the local farmers' "sharps maker" because the blades of his sickles and scythes were widely acclaimed as the sharpest possible. However, the real Opinel - a folding pocket knife - had to wait a while for its discovery. Daniel Opinel's eldest son, Joseph, decided to follow in his father's footsteps and, driven by artistic passion, combined handcrafting with the most modern technology at the time and created a small miracle. The year was 1890 and the Opinel folding pocket knife saw the light of day, a knife loved from day one and passed down from generation to generation. The knife, which over the years has gained hundreds of thousands of fans around the world, has become a common part of many households and somewhat of a symbol of all of France...
Nowadays, the company produces not only legendary folding outdoor knives, but also has a sophisticated kitchen program, including forged kitchen knives; today you can also buy stainless steel cutlery and steak knives from the Opinel brand.

We offer the option of picking up at thousands of delivery points in the GLS and Balíkovna networks. Delivery to the delivery point is cheaper and offers greater flexibility, you can pick up the shipment when it suits you.
Please note, however, that there is a limited time for which the shipment will be available at the pick-up point.
Usually, the shipment must be picked up within 2-3 business days.
