When the word Jalapeno Chili comes to mind, many of us think of Tex-Mex, an exciting blend of Mexican and Spanish cuisine created in the late 19th century by Tejanos - Texans of Mexican descent. Tortillas, nachos and burritos are some mouthwatering examples that more people than those living in the Lone Star State will appreciate.

These dried organic green Jalapeno Chilies (Capsicum Annuum) are grown in Spain. The flavor is mild, round and fruity with a hotness of around 5,000 Scoville units. Sprinkle grated jalapeños on meat dishes such as chilli con carne and stew, flavour cheddar cheese sauce or grate them on homemade pizza. Jalapeño chilli is mild enough to go with most dishes and spicy enough to stand out.
