HIMALAYAN ROCK SALT
Himalayan rock salt comes from northern Pakistan, from an area called the "Salt Range", near the Himalayan Mountains. It is a natural rock salt that was formed by the evaporation of prehistoric seas approximately 250 million years ago.
Natural salt rocks come in a variety of colors, from pure white to beautiful light pink to dramatic deep red, all depending on the iron oxide content.

Taste: aromatic with a long-lasting spicy touch on a fine mineral body.

Ideal for: seasoning meat and fish as well as vegetables.

BLUE ROCK SALT
Blue rock salt
, mined in salt mines in the Middle East, is one of the rarest and most exclusive salts in the world. The interesting blue color is created when the crystal structure of the salt is formed, when strong pressure is applied to the salt deposits. The individual crystals refract light in an unusual way, creating an optical illusion that makes the salt appear more or less shimmering blue.

Taste: initially quite strong, later rather delicate with a velvety sweet touch.

Ideal for: seafood, salads, French cuisine and truffles.
